Bahrain Souq: This IS the time to explore the Manama Souq is located near Bab Al Bahrain, one of Bahrain’s most iconic landmarks. The entrance to the souq is through Bab Al Bahrain (Gate of Bahrain),

a historic building that has been beautifully restored. The souq is a maze of narrow streets and alleys, packed with shops selling a wide variety of items. The market offers an authentic experience with its traditional architecture and local vendors who have been there for generations. Gold Jewellery, Traditional Pearls, Spices and Perfumes, Textiles and Carpets, handcrafted items, small food stalls and restaurants serving local delicacies traditional Arabic sweets, like baklava, halwa, and dates. This is a must-stop for anyone looking to take a taste of Bahrain.

Camping in Sakhir Desert: The desert in winter transforms into a hub for camping and stargazing. Locals and tourists often set up tents or rent fully equipped desert camps. Sakhir’s vast dunes provide a serene environment for nights under the stars, with opportunities for BBQs, bonfires, and dune-bashing.

National Day Celebrations: Bahrain National Day, celebrated on December 16th and 17th, marks a major holiday where the nation comes together in celebration. The streets and landmarks are adorned with lights and flags, and the event is marked with concerts, parades, and fireworks.
