Bahrain Jewellery exhibition 2024

The dust is settling on three of the biggest events of the year in Bahrain November 26 to 30, 2024, conveniently held together in one location this November at Exhibition World Bahrain, Sakhir.

The annual event is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain.

Over 650-700 renowned local and international brands from all over the world showcasing a wide array of products, from exquisite finished jewelry and luxury timepieces to rare and colorful gemstones.

Highlights of the event include "Diamond Talks," a series of insightful sessions covering trends in the luxury jewelry industry, sustainability, and the future of rare gems.

Gems/Pearl checking facilities were available which was interesting - the express service charged at 100BHD. Enough said. Last time there was live pearl extraction didnt see it this time or maybe i missed. It was crowded and i was in a bit of rush.

This time i had 3 clients who were participating and using my images created for them. So i decided a quick visit is in order. Also secretly seeing a 4x3 mtr poster of the image i shot was nice.

Amazing collections from almost all brands present and almost all brands had some questionably big show off pieces - but then again thats a show off piece. That coming from a guy who only has a Tigers eye braclet - so take it with lots of grains of salt. I over heard the price of a watch for example - over 500,000USD - im sure someone would buy it and display it not sure it would be worn. I dont know. It was interesting nonetheless.

• Scent Arabia 2024:

  • A niche exhibition dedicated to luxury Arabic perfumes, oriental fragrances, and perfume oils.

It was right there but i didnt visit. Couple of my friends got some good deals on some scents they have been wanting to get in a while.

• Cityscape Bahrain 2024:

  • Focused on the real estate and property market, bringing together investors, homebuyers, and industry professionals.

  • A platform to explore Bahrain's property market and investment opportunities.

One of my friend was an exhibitor for cityscape Saudi since his companies real estate investments are in Bahrain. For comparison he said 3times. Saudi cityscape was 3 times the size of Bahrain cityscape.

Overall one could say the event was a grand sucess. Loads of parking and the traffic was bearable atleast during the two times i visited. Saying that i believe Thursday evening it was bad but i am not too sure if it was just because of Jewllery arabia. Weekend rush, prefect weather and well its a Bahrain weekend if you know what i mean. ;)
